Slap Out Of It! is a slap-and-solve adventure that stretches your wits and your noodly arms to their max. It's a big sandbox of secrets that combines slapstick humor and hilarious lateral thinking puzzles in a beautiful celebration of stupid that will keep you thinking and laughing at the same time.
Our world is broken... but at Puzzl, we're putting it back together piece by piece - better than before! Join our team of PuzzPals and help us solve the world's problems with a personal touch. But first, our CEO needs some help with a very important mission. You're not afraid of heights, right?
You see that mountain? You can slap it. Well, you could if this game had mountains. Everything within reach of your stretchy arms is satisfyingly interactive and responsive to your touch with animation, sound, and haptics. Every background detail is intentional and worthy of your attention - so explore and slap everything, because you never know what might happen. Maybe we’ll add mountains.
Lean on the skills you’ve learned from point-and-clicks to SLAP-AND-SOLVE. Use your elevator to travel between floors, gather items in your fanny pack, and make logical leaps as you unravel how every floor and their inhabitants are connected. And if you get stuck, keep on slapping or ask the operator for some intel to help you along.
Slap Out Of It! is inspired and adapted from "Floor Plan," the hit VR escape game series. It has been dramatically expanded with all-new gameplay and secrets to discover, and meticulously redesigned from the ground up for keyboard and controller. Please note that this is not a VR game and does not have any VR support.

Our team took inspiration from lots of different games and media when building Slap Out Of It! The initial concept was inspired by character-driven classic point and click adventure games such as Monkey Island, Sam & Max, and Grim Fandango, but with an emphasis on animation over dialogue. The comedy sandbox side uses a mix of wordplay, visual puns, and slapstick humor with inspirations ranging from games like Untitled Goose Game, Jazzpunk, and Thank Goodness You’re Here to spoof comedy shows or movies like [Police Squad!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Police_Squad!), Popstar, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
We have a particularly great appreciation for comedy that requires lots of people to come together and intentionally spend a great deal of time and effort to make something dumb. In mashing “point and click” concepts together with “slapstick comedy sandbox,” it became what we call a “slap and solve adventure.”
Slap Out Of It! is an adaptation of Floor Plan, our popular VR game series that started in 2016 with a sequel in 2021. It takes much of the art and puzzles from Floor Plan 2 and puts the pieces back together around a brand new comedy sandbox with new gameplay, puzzles, and story. Our approach was more like adapting a book into a movie than a port or a remake - rethinking every moment that made the series special from a different perspective (instead of trying to approximate the VR experience), while adding lots of material that only works with the new medium. The result is something that plays like a new game with its own identity - even the core interaction (slapping) is new to the series.
